Today, Bold Groove’s artist roster is filled with a variety of talent, ranging from intimate jazz to high-energy dance bands. Their team is made up of a meticulously vetted network of world-class artists, seasoned bands, instrumentalists, distinguished venues, and cutting-edge audio/visual professionals. Shawn has been performing for 35 years covering any and every genre of music from the past 100 years on multiple instruments. Most of his performing has been in the private sector. He has spent the last dozen years combining his craft and connection to great musicians for the benefits of others. His band, Family Tree, known for its impromptu performances, has raised thousands of dollars for many different charities in the Attleboro/Rehoboth area.
When he is not on stage, Shawn is promoting the art of live performance. In an environment where technology is replacing working musicians, he is always creating events that can sustain the costs of larger bands so audiences can enjoy the beauty of the big band sound. He is also a proud member of AFM local 216.
John is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, He has performed nationally across diverse genres, and always brings intimacy and presence to his performances. As a lifelong meditator, he prioritizes intention and musicality in both his playing and his 20+ years as a music educator.
His work highlights music’s healing power, from collaborations with the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office and the P.A.C.T. Unit for Guitars Behind Bars, to directing the Rock Voices choir and serving as Music Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club of America. Bold Groove Media represents the culmination of his years as a performer and leader in the entertainment industry.
John is a proud member of the American Federation of Musicians Local 216, a husband and father of two who enjoys gardening, rock climbing, and Star Trek.
Jeff has been composing and performing since age five. His early days performing in coffee houses across upstate New York in the 1970s fueled his lifelong passion for music, blending a free-spirited environment with classical training. By age nine, he had completed his first symphony; by eleven, he was Choir and Folk Group Director at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Pawtucket, RI, and later produced a television spot for Ronald Reagan’s 1980 campaign.
After studying at Juilliard, New England Conservatory, and earning his degree from UMass Lowell, Jeff expanded into theater and production. He served as Technical Director at UMass Lowell and the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, Project Manager for High Output, and with rigging manufacturer JR Clancy, Inc.
Jeff is a proud member and past president of IATSE Local 195, and member of IATSE Local 481, AFM Local 9-535, and the Recording Academy. He leads Griflyn Productions, performing, producing, teaching, and consulting across the entertainment industry.
